Local Event
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Join those in your community for an intergenerational program for older adults and kids! Each group will learn a physical activity which will improve their health, mood, and more. The goals of the program are to have fun, enjoy gentle exercise, and learn from each other!
The Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention program is designed to improve multiple aspects of health through slow, gentle movements that can be practiced almost anywhere. The degree of exertion can be easily adjusted, making this program suitable for adults of all ages and abilities.
The 4-H kids' yoga can improve flexibility, balance, enhance strength, boost self-esteem, and improve attention and relationships.

Colon Cancer Screenings are offered, and you may be eligible for a free Cologuard test kit. The CDC suggests starting regular screening at age 45 for people at average risk, or earlier if you have a specific risk factors like family history of colorectal cancer or inflammatory bowel disease.
